I had IKEBANA lessen this morning and it was the first day of the year 2015.
I was the only student who participated this lesson . Other students except me were all sick, unfortunately.
Actually, It has been more than 2months since the last time I joined the lesson.
I felt difficult to arrange the flowers at the beginning because I've been away for a long time.
My teacher helped me a lot and she completed the work because I was confused and I couldn't complete them.
Here is today's work.
These IKEBANA work is not mine, My teacher did all of them instead of me because I was confused.
This pink and yellow combination reminded me of fresh spring in Japan.
The moment I saw her arrangement, I almost cried because I was sure I felt the essence of the flowers and greens .
It was so beautiful , I felt Japan through her work and miss Japan so much.
She could catch the essence of the flowers and greens and showed me them.
Since I saw her work for the first time ,I always think that She has an amazing gift from God when it comes to IKEBANA.
She always shows us fabulous arrangement and It's like magic.
She always knows how to find the best way to arrange the flowers . Any kind of flowers and greens doesn't matter for her.
I'm sure that she has magic hands.
I was deeply moved and inspired not only by her work but also the way she showed life to me.
She expresses herself through her work and lives her life to the fullest .
It reminds me that life is an art and it's beautiful .

IKEBANA So Fantastic Japanese flower arrangement
Japan has very unique practices and I used to do SADOU tea ceremony which is a Japanese traditional culture. When I moved to Singapore, I took up IKEBANA which is the Japanese traditional flower arrangement.
I really appreciate the Japanese culture now much more than when I lived there and I am very proud of it.
IKEBANA is like meditation with movement.
This is exactly the same feeling when I practiced SADOU.
Maybe we call it ZEN.
My Ikebana teacher tells me that we always have to make a delicate balance of the ying and yang in our arrangement.
I don't want to think, but I want to feel while I practice IKEBANA.
I always feel calm After Practicing IKEBANA, which is similar to that feeling after I do YOGA.
